YOUR CHURCH FOR COMMUNITY

New to the UK?

Welcome to City Church! We're so happy you're here. God's love knows no borders. So we are dedicated to being a welcoming community, reaching out and serving people from all nations and backgrounds.

Welcome to City Church! Bienvenido! 欢迎你! Welkom! Ласкаво просимо!

We are so glad you are here! We are a multi-cultural church with more than 45 nationalities and we would love to be your home away from home.

Our aim is to help those new to the UK find community, grow in language skills, and most importantly encounter Jesus Christ.

We'd like to help you:

Meet and connect with others new to Manchester
Learn more about British culture and customs
Find practical support and advice on UK life
Grow in faith and discover the love of God

Sundays

We want everyone to come and hear God’s Word. If English is not your first language, you can follow along with the sermon transcript online at citychurchmanchester.org/transcript.

We also have Bibles available in Mandarin, Spanish, French, Farsi, or Arabic. Our Welcome Team would love to give these to you to borrow or take home.

If you are exploring Christianity, we would love to help! Why not:

  • Attend an Alpha course to find out the basics of Christianity with other seekers
  • Read the Bible with a member from our church
  • Join a Beginner-friendly bible study with other internationals

If you are interested in any of these, contact us at nuk@citychurchmanchester.org.

We do believe the church should help with teaching and training kids. But, actually, most of our help for parents and carers is done through relationships.

We love students. We want to help you belong to a community, figure out what to believe and become who God made you to be.

Prayer

We love God. We want to spend time with him in prayer to grow in intimacy, dependence and expectation for what he can do.
