Build the future

Over the years, I've witnessed this church's commitment to sound Biblical teaching, genuine Christian fellowship, and reaching the local community with the good news of Jesus Christ. A permanent building will provide a stable foundation for worship, discipleship, and evangelistic outreach. It's a privilege to partner with a church that takes seriously the Great Commission and seeks to glorify God in all they do. I'm grateful to support this project and pray it will bear much fruit for God's kingdom.

I feel more connected to Jesus’ heart and mission because of them. I'm so glad this isn’t a church looking to fulfill the cliché, 'If we build it, they will come.' Rather, City Church is committed to serving their community, making disciples, planting churches, and sending believers into a world destined to be filled with God’s glory.

Not only have they planted a vibrant church, but they are planting others in their city and the region. The leaders there are the kind of leaders we should all get behind financially and in every way possible.

For the past four years of our travels to the UK, Isabelle and I have witnessed God’s remarkable work through City Church Manchester as lives are transformed and the gospel takes root in a city once resistant to Jesus. We believe this church needs a lasting home now more than ever to serve, disciple, and reach even more people with the hope of Jesus Christ. We’re investing in this vision and invite you to join us in supporting a permanent home for generations to come.

There are so many different ways City Church has supported and encouraged me over the years. From Pastor’s Days to preaching opportunities, from prayer meetings to Planters’ Collectives. City Church have been very generous with their time and resources. Knowing Ralph, Matt and the team are rooting for, and investing in us, encourages and inspires us to be equally generous with our time and resources as we seek to grow the kingdom of God together here in the great city of Manchester.
