Training Opportunities

Smokehouse Logo

Smokehouse is our training track for Emerging Leaders. It is taught over 12 weeks in the City Church Ministry Hub and delivered three times a year. The first year provides an overview of doctrine, the second a toolbox for Bible handling and the third covers ministry philosophy and skills. All Connect leaders and ministry team leaders at City Church pass through Smoke House and the training is also open to people outside of City Church at a cost of £50 per year. Crosslands Logo

Crosslands is Seminary-level training taught in the Ministry Hub at City Church. It is a joint initiative by Acts 29 and Oak Hill to provide excellent in-context theological training for churches and church leaders. It combines mentoring in your local church, independent study, Seminar days led by Ralph Cunnington, a Pastoral Conference and two Residential Intensives per year. Plant North Logo

Plant North is a London Seminary training course taught out of the Ministry Hub at City Church. It brings together church planters in the North of England to meet, think, discuss, learn and share. The syllabus covers everything from casting vision to avoiding common mistakes with a view to equipping planters to start and grow healthy churches. Ralph Cunnington is the Course Director. Flourish Logo

Flourish North is a London Seminary training course for women who want to be more thoroughly equipped to serve. The course is designed for women (including ministry wives) who are active in a recognised role in their church involving ministry to women. It is taught in the Ministry Hub at City Church. Sarah Allen is the Course Director and hosts the course. Further information is available here -
