A Practical Workshop for Integrative learning

You are invited to attend a think tank on effective theological education for c.21st Britain and Ireland.

Facilitator:           Perry Shaw

Venue:                City Church Manchester, Central Hall, Oldham Street, Manchester, M1 1JQ
                          Rooom 22

Date:                  28th March

Time:                  2-4.30pm

The UK is now a post-Christianised mission field. We need to grow congregations who are equipped to reach out with message of Christ. We also need to develop men and women who can help the church understand the wider society and hence have Kingdom impact.

The think-tank will be an opportunity to consider possible pathways for training men and women for multi-cultural outreach and discipleship, as well as for missional leadership in contemporary Britain and Ireland.

We will begin with an extended dialogue about contemporary contextual challenges. With some understanding of the context we will then consider the sort of characteristics needed by missional congregations and leaders in the contemporary UK scene.

We will conclude with dreaming and strategizing about possible pathways for recruiting, training, and deploying men and women of quality.

We very much hope you will be able to attend. Please do reply by to . Final details will be distributed a couple of weeks before the event.
